About Vic
Experience, honesty and compassion for life's hardest conversations
Vic does not begin by taking sides or deciding who is right. He helps each person slow down, speak honestly, listen more carefully, and understand what is needed to move toward repair, acceptance, or a healthier transition.
Reverend Vic Caruso has spent more than four decades helping people navigate relationship conflict, family hardship, loss, major life transitions, and questions of faith and meaning.
As an ordained reverend and longtime community leader, Vic brings a calm, direct, and compassionate presence to conversations that families often struggle to have on their own. His pastoral education included training related to relationships, marriage and family dynamics, grief, spiritual care, reconciliation, and crisis support.
He also serves as Executive Director of City Impact Center, a non-profit organization in Las Vegas, where he has spent decades supporting individuals and families throughout the community.

Support for relationships, families, faith and life transitions
You do not need to wait until a relationship or family has completely broken down to ask for help. Vic works with people preparing for a new chapter, struggling through a difficult season, or trying to decide what should happen next.
Relationship and Discernment Support
Support for couples at every stage of a relationship — from preparing for marriage to rebuilding trust or deciding whether the relationship should continue.
Vic can help with:
- Premarital preparation
- Marriage and couples communication
- Recurring conflict and resentment
- Emotional distance and loss of connection
- Infidelity and rebuilding trust
- Difficult decisions about staying together
- Discernment when one or both partners are uncertain
- Respectful separation planning
- Healing after separation or divorce
The goal is not to pressure people to remain together or to separate. It is to create enough honesty, understanding, and emotional safety for both people to make thoughtful decisions.
Family Intervention and Reconnection
When a family is overwhelmed by conflict or crisis, it can be difficult to begin a productive conversation without falling into blame, defensiveness, avoidance, or another blowup.
Vic helps families prepare for structured conversations involving:
- Substance use and addiction
- Gambling and financial problems
- Parenting struggles
- Adult-child conflict
- Caregiving responsibilities
- Grief and loss
- Infidelity and broken trust
- Estrangement and longstanding resentment
- Household boundaries and responsibilities
- Major health or life changes
The purpose of a family intervention is to bring the truth into the room with compassion, establish healthy expectations, and identify realistic next steps.
Vic's services are not emergency intervention services or a replacement for medical, psychiatric, addiction, legal, or emergency care.
Christian Pastoral Care
Faith-based support is available for individuals, couples, and families who want their Christian beliefs incorporated into the conversation.
Depending on your preferences, sessions may explore:
- Prayer and scripture
- Forgiveness and reconciliation
- Marriage and family commitments
- Spiritual conflict or disconnection
- Guilt, shame, hope, and redemption
- Meaning during suffering or loss
- Reconnecting with personal values
- Making difficult decisions through the lens of faith
Christian guidance is always optional. Vic welcomes people from every belief system, including people who do not identify as religious or spiritual.
End-of-Life, Grief and Legacy Support
Serious illness, caregiving, death, and grief can bring difficult emotions and unfinished conversations to the surface.
Vic offers compassionate support for those navigating:
- Anticipatory grief
- A serious or life-limiting illness
- Caregiver stress
- Fear of death or uncertainty
- Conversations about wishes and values
- Reconciliation and unfinished relationships
- Preparing family members for loss
- Meaning, dignity, faith, and legacy
- Grief following the death of a loved one
These conversations can help families remain connected, communicate what matters most, and approach the end of life with greater honesty, love, and peace.
Emotional support complements but does not replace hospice, palliative care, medical treatment, mental health treatment, estate planning, or legal advice.
