In-person visit required for controlled substances
Georgia law requires an in-person visit before any controlled substance can be prescribed via telehealth — that includes stimulants for ADHD (Adderall, Vyvanse, Concerta), benzodiazepines, and other Schedule II–IV medications. If your treatment plan may involve a controlled substance, you'll need an initial in-person evaluation before we can continue medication management by video. Non-controlled prescriptions (SSRIs, SNRIs, bupropion, mood stabilizers, non-stimulant ADHD medications like Strattera or Qelbree) can be started by telehealth from your first visit. Call or text us at (702) 848-2256 with questions about scheduling an in-person evaluation.
