Health First Colorado is Colorado's Medicaid program, and we're in network. We also take two related plans: Colorado Access Behavioral Health and Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+). Denver Health Medicaid Choice and Denver Health CHP+ aren't in our network yet.

Your first visit is a 30 to 40 minute video evaluation with a Colorado-licensed psychiatric clinician. A prescription is never guaranteed, and some controlled substances may require an in-person visit. Federal telehealth rules for controlled substances are temporary through Dec 31, 2026 and may change.
